Summary: Rotisserie restoration, one of the most correct numbered and date coded Judges. Build Sheet, Protect-O-Plate and PHS documented as one of 168 convertibles and one of only 47 “YZ” Coded Ram Air III automatics built in 1970. From the Ron Pratte Collection.
Details: Representative of the highest point of the muscle car era and one of the rarest production Pontiacs ever, the 1970 GTO Judge Ram Air III convertible presented here is one of only 47 YZ Coded examples built in 1970. This exceptional Judge convertible has had a 2,000 hour, body-off, rotisserie restoration and is one of the most correct numbered and date-coded Judges in existence, with world class documentation. This incredible Judge is complete with its original Build Sheet, Protect-O-Plate and is PHS documented as one of 168 Judge convertibles built in 1970. The entire original matching numbers drivetrain has been meticulously rebuilt to stock specifications, even the connecting rod and main bearings have not been machined. The block still retains its original displacement and the original size bores feature new pistons. The original water pump and exhaust manifolds were retained and rebuilt rather than being replaced. A notarized document was signed stating that the only four dated and numbered items that were replaced during the restoration were the starter, radiator, alternator and voltage regulator. This Judge even retains its original factory-issue JT Coded Rally II wheels. Nothing but the very best was put in this automobile. The original owner and the owner of the delivering dealer were consulted with during the course of the restoration and both were on hand when the freshly restored Judge convertible was unveiled at the original delivering dealership, Gus Brown Motors in Whitby, Ontario, Canada in June of 2007 with the GTO Club of Ontario on hand. An extremely rare and magnificently restored Ram Air III convertible, this 1970 GTO Judge is an outstanding example of one of Pontiac’s greatest muscle cars. From the Ron Pratte Collection.

The 2011 Camaro Convertible is the 22nd Chevrolet and the 7th Camaro chosen to pace the Indianapolis 500. 2011 was the 100th anniversary of the race and also the centennial year of Chevrolet. The car comes with many Indianapolis publications from race day, including the Official Starting Field publication, the track edition of the Indianapolis Star newpapaper and Sports Illustrated magazine special centennial edition and program, still wrapped in plastic. Summary:

The only Ram Air Talladega built by Ford. The only red Talladega. This is the earliest prototype Talladega known to exist.

Details:

This is the earliest prototype Talladega known to exist. It is the only red, Ram Air Talladega built. It was ordered as a special purpose vehicle by Ford Motor Company Administrative Services. The car was built with the options that was not available to any production Talladega, such as 428cid 4V Cobra Jet engine with Ram Air, C6 Cruise-O-Matic transmission, rim blow deluxe steering wheel, air conditioning selectaire, AM/FM stereo radio, rear seat speakers, tinted glass complete, deluxe belts and warning light, tachometer, dark red vinyl bucket seats and Candyapple Red paint. Here is where the prototype comes into play, once at Ford Administrative Services the transformation began. The rocker panels were hand modified to lower the car and the front fenders were hand modified for aerodynamics. They removed the hood latching mechanism and installed hood pins as the only means to hold the hood shut. The car came with a white C stripe that was modified in the front for the longer nose and at the rear a piece stripe was added to cover the holes in the quarter panel where the Torino emblem used to be. The Ford T plate is also unique in the material it is made of and its placement on the doors. The tail panel was painted black, but still has the GT lower moldings on it. The hood, hood scoop and wiper panel were all painted flat black, not egg shell. When all that was done, they then fitted the car with chrome styled steel wheels and Goodyear white letter tires with GT caps. The car was used in some photo shoots and was seen in Stock Car Racing Magazine in April of 1969. Ford owned the car for almost four years before selling the car to NASCAR Hall of Fame legend Banjo Matthew in March of 1971. This car has the documentation including a copy of the original title in Ford’s name, registration card in Ford’s name, a loan contract, invoice and receipt from Ford to Banjo Matthews, a release agreement from Banjo to Ford and a Marti Report.

Details: I named this car “Dr Rev” after my Father, a preacher, who was a lover of Oldsmobiles. I restored this car after my Father passed away in 2005 and after we had traveled together across the country with it, entering it into many car shows across the country. It is an original Texas car that was purchased in Texas in 2000 and meticulously restored between October 2008 and July 2010. The restoration is documented very well and reveals a superb chassis, body and undercarriage with very little rust or body damage. The entire undercarriage was meticulously restored as well as the body, interior, engine and engine compartment. The chrome has been restored to better than original and triple plated and polished beyond compare. The bright work is beautiful as well. In July 2010, only 3 days after completing the restoration, I trailered the 442 to Boston, Massachusetts for the Oldsmobile Club of America’s Nationals, where it took 1st place in the restored stock class of the Olds Nationals, with a score of 987. Over $80,000 has been invested in this restoration. The car has the factory SSI 14″ rims with the correct redline tires of that era. This 442 was one of only 2,000+ cars that rolled off the factory line with the Tri-Power L69 option. It is a very rare, highly-optioned car with air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering and side-mounted tachometer, a 4-speed manual transmission and Protect-O-Plate. The Cutlass 442 was Oldsmobile’s answer to its Pontiac competitior, the Tempest GTO. Production began in 1964 and was the successor to the F-85 Cutlass, but production began in mid-year because Pontiac’s sales of the GTO were so spectacular and Oldsmobile wanted in on the action. With Oldsmobile going out of business several years ago, this beautiful car will undoubtedly be among a very elite class of muscle cars that are highly collectible.

Custom 2010 Camaro SSX powered by a new 427cid LS block from GM with LS heads and Harrop HVT 2300 supercharger. This combination is backed by a Rockland Standard Gear “Transzilla” 6-speed and custom 12-bolt rear end. From the Jimmy Richardson Collection.

Details:

Starting with a new 2010 Camaro Super Sport, under the direction of Jimmy Richardson at Big Pop’s Garage, Classic Automotive Restoration Specialists, Inc created a modern day muscle car. The SSX is all about performance. The SSX is a registered trademark and the trademark goes with the car. It is 1 of 1. All of the cars original drivetrain was removed and installed in its place a custom C&R Racing aluminum radiator and 427cid LS engine topped with a Harrop HVT 2300 supercharger producing a tire shredding 829hp and 811lb/ft of torque. A Transzilla 6-speed Tremec transmission from Rockland Standard Gear with custom gear ratios is connected to a one-piece carbon fiber driveshaft. Transmitting all the power to the wheels is a prototype BSP-12 rear differential with 3.73 gears and a Wave-track differential from Barber Speed & Performance coupled to 1450hp axle shafts. Bringing the SSX Camaro to a stop are Harrop 6-piston calipers on the front clamping down on 15″ rotors and 4-piston calipers with 13″ rotors in the rear. The stock interior has been removed and completely re-stitched with complimentary orange stitching and custom SSX inserts added to the headrests. On the exterior a bold orange stripe has been added symbolizing the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport paint scheme. The hood is a one-off carbon fiber ‘air extractor” combined with ground effects kit from Unrestricted Motorsports. Also added are custom SSX graphics and BOZE Apex custom forged 3-piece wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires and a 2″ DSE suspension drop and performance sway bars. The SSX looks bold and performs bold, 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, 60-0mph braking in 103 feet and a top speed in excess of 200mph. From the Jimmy Richardson Collection.

The show’s opening sequence, featuring Bo and Luke Duke, included the clip of Lee1 jumping over a Hazzard County police cruiser. That jump, for which Lee 1 is most famous, was made by a stunt man on the campus of Oxford College on Saturday, November 11, 1978. Lee 1’s first and only jump was 16 feet up and over the cruiser, landing 82 feet from the take off ramp. The only cast member that ever drove Lee 1 was John Schneider, who played Bo Duke. Some other options include strato-bucket seats with optional floor console shift, electric power windows, power and tilt steering, front disc brakes, 3.31 posi-traction rear differential, Firestone wide-oval raised white letter tires on Rally wheels, heavy duty front/rear firm ride springs and F-41 racing suspension, instrument gauge package with tach, AM/FM stereo, power top and much more. It’s provenance includes the original Build Sheet and a complete decoding of all the options it came equipped with, a rotisserie pictorial and break down and decoding of the vehicles major components and numbers, and Chevelle documentation, statistics and literature. Cylinders: 1
Engine Size: 98
Transmission: MANUAL
Summary: 1907 Cadillac Model M Touring. Nice older restoration.
Details: Henry M. Leland pioneered the concept of precision-manufactured interchangeable parts applied to automobiles. A Vermonter, he’d learned the machinist trade in the armories of New England where the ability to quickly swap a trigger, hammer, spur or cylinder from one firearm to another in combat were the difference between life and death. He was called in by the Henry Ford Company’s stockholders to assess the company’s factories for liquidation. Instead, he proposed creating a new company named Cadillac after Detroit’s French explorer discoverer, to apply his principles of precision manufacturing. The result was “The Standard of the World,” winning England’s prestigious Dewar trophy in 1908 with the Model K. This 1907 Model M is the same engine with 2″ more wheelbase, a ten horsepower 98 cubic inch horizontal single-cylinder engine with 2-speed planetary transmission and chain drive, but with a more commodious 4-seat touring car body. Once part of Bill Harrah’s famed collection in Reno (Sparks), Nevada, it has been restored with black coachwork, red chassis and wood spoke wheels, blackwall tires and black leather upholstery, road lighting is conveniently and adaptably supplied by an acetylene spotlight mounted on a swivel on the cowl, where the driver or passenger can direct its beam precisely on the Cadillac’s path, in addition to brass cowl lights. A nonpariel bulb horn warns chickens, dogs and pedestrians of its approach. Restored some years ago, it has been consistently maintained since then and now runs and drives as well as being handsomely presentable. It is an example of the very best of early American automobiles, an ideal mount for Brass and Gas tours that open new experiences and communities of owners and enthusiasts to collectors.

One-of-a-kind XR7 convertible with less than 57,000 actual miles. Two owners since new and I have owned this car since 1991. This car has all its original body panels and was an unmolested original car that underwent a painstaking 6-year restoration process. The original 428CJ engine was rebuilt with standard bore and standard crankshaft to original specs, but allowing for use of current unleaded gasoline. The original 4-speed transmission was rebuilt, as well as the original Traction-Lok 3.50 rear end. Every component works as it did when it was new, including the low fuel sending unit, clock, radio, etc. This XR7 convertible was one of just 17 produced with a 428CJ and a 4-speed transmission. Factory options make it a one of one according to the Marti Report. Documentation of this car includes all Marti Reports, Eminger original dealer invoice, Build Sheet and copies of titles dating to 1970. Other options include power disc brakes front, power steering, power windows, space saver spare tire which is original with inflation bottle, AM/FM stereo radio, tilt steering wheel, sports console, tinted glass, Traction-Lok 3.50 differential, appearance protection group and automatic seat belt release. The restoration of this car took six years and many NOS parts were used in the process. The paint is show quality, as is the fit and finish of the interior. Door panels, armrests, console and dash are original with the seats and carpet being replaced with the highest quality materials. The black convertible top is new along with the correct back glass window. The original convertible top boot is in the trunk along with the original boot bag and shows the care this car has been accustomed to it’s entire life. Steel style sport wheels were added to enhance the appearance of the car along with period correct wide oval tires.
